Step 1 : choose your template

A template is the first thing to select before the build of your segment.

A template define the id you want to select. The selected id depends on the channel you want to use.

This videos show you how to select a template from the list you can see below :

Step 2 : Create your segment

  • Always create ‘sub-query’ to target, using ‘in (request) list’ or ‘Not in (request) list’
  • Use Cookie_id to target on web session
  • Use Decathlon Shared_id to target on other dimension
  • Create one sub-query per dimension
  • Always use as much filter as you can when you target on purchases and/or web session
  • Purchases data = 1 year ; Web session data = 3 months

You can find here the data dictionary

Step 3 : Name your segment

To order all the segments in your CDP and to facilitate their use for the different channels.

It’s mandatory to respect a specific format for each segment name

Here the file which will help you to define the name of your new segment

Step 4 : Choose your destination

A destination is the last thing to select after the build of your segment.

A destination define the channel to where you want to send your new segment.

In some specific cases, you don’t need to select one (see below)
